TJBS Summer Science Program

A fully alumni funded and sponsored six-week Summer Science For-Credit Academic Enrichment Program for incoming Pre-freshman students interested in health professions. Students take courses in biology, chemistry, mathematics, english, and critical thinking. Our Alumni participate in a weekly alumni speaker series throughout the program providing invaluable mentorship and advisement. We have partnered with the Morehouse College Office of Health Professions for over 20 years to provide incoming students an early look at college life and the scholastic rigors of applying to health professions school. Many of our alums are former participants of this program. The students who participate in this program have a higher GPA than those who do not participate at the end of freshman and sophomore year as shown by data collected by the Morehouse Office of Health Professions.
